Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable General Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep and efficient operation of a residential community and an affiliated thrift store. This role involves performing routine maintenance, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance to help ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for residents, staff, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Complete general maintenance and repair tasks including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance, and basic HVAC repairs.
• Perform routine HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and filter changes as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment, including HVAC systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and service records.
• Ensure facilities comply with safety standards and building regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Assist with general upkeep such as replacing fixtures, repairing doors, maintaining lighting, and other facility improvements.
• Support seasonal maintenance tasks and general property upkeep.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in facilities, property, or general maintenance preferred.
• HVAC experience required, including basic troubleshooting and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
• EPA certification required (EPA Section 608 or equivalent).
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
