Job Summary:

• Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles (flatbed and box trucks) in compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow all safety and traffic laws
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and prevent delays
• Load, unload, and organize materials at branch locations and customer job sites with accuracy and care
• Verify purchase orders, delivery tickets, and inventory for correct routing and delivery accuracy
• Take photos of delivered products as required by company policy
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, mileage, and receipts
• Assess job site conditions, identify hazards, and report safety concerns
• Collaborate with customers to confirm proper material placement and ensure satisfaction
• Support yard operations, including material handling and maintaining a clean work environment
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times

Location: Bloomington, IN

Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Pay: $26.00 / hr +

Schedule: 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no overnight travel required)

Qualifications:

• CDL-B (or higher) with airbrakes required
• Ability to consistently lift or carry up to 50 lbs
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others on the team
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions & noise levels
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must comply with quality standards
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
