Production Assemblers – Window Line Summary

Express is hiring dedicated and motivated Production Assemblers - Windows to join a growing team in Sumterville.

MUST have window assembly, repair, or installation experience needed

Shift Schedules:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00a.m.-3:30p.m.
Must be available to work Saturday as needed

Essential Job Functions:

• Report to work on time for all scheduled work days
• Work on the production line where windows are assembled
• Check window and fixture installation, and repair as needed
• Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize measuring tape, hand tools and power tools effectively to fabricate parts and complete assemblies.
• Operate machinery as needed within the assembly line while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.

·         Follow specific standardized work instructions, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance standards

• Work elsewhere as directed by supervision.
• Wear all the required personal protective equipment for the specific job
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.

 What we require (minimum required qualifications):

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Window repair, installation experience needed
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience working on an assembly line is a plus
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
