Account Manager - Construction Sales and Estimating

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Account Manager with a strong background in construction, consultative sales, and estimating to support our growing court resurfacing and sports construction business. This role combines client relationship management, sales, and project estimating, making it ideal for someone who understands construction processes and can confidently guide clients through project scope, pricing, and execution. The ideal candidate has experience in construction sales, coatings, paving, or restoration and is comfortable using estimating tools such as Xactimate (preferred).

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with HOAs, property managers, schools, municipalities, and commercial clients
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope, take measurements, and identify client needs
• Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals using Xactimate or similar estimating software
• Deliver consultative sales presentations, educating clients on resurfacing options, materials, and timelines
• Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Track leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity within CRM systems
• Follow up on proposals and close new business opportunities
• Maintain strong knowledge of court resurfacing, coatings, asphalt, and concrete solutions
• Assist with project handoff and ensure client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle

 

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in construction sales, estimating, or account management
• Strong background in consultative (solution-based) sales
• Experience with estimating software (Xactimate preferred) or similar tools
• Knowledge of construction materials, site work, coatings, asphalt, or concrete
• Ability to read plans, take measurements, and develop accurate estimates
• Proven ability to close deals and manage client relationships
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in court resurfacing, paving, sealcoating, or sports construction
• Familiarity with acrylic coatings, crack repair, and striping/layout
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but is not required
• Experience working with insurance-related estimates or restoration projects

 

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary of $50K + uncapped commission of about $150K in the first year
