Property Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair residential or commercial properties. This role involves hands-on work in general repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance. Ideal candidates are problem-solvers with a strong work ethic and a versatile skill set.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and flooring
Respond to work orders and emergency repair requests in a timely manner
Inspect properties regularly to identify safety hazards or repair needs
Maintain and repair appliances, fixtures, and building systems
Assist with landscaping, groundskeeping, and exterior property upkeep as needed
Document completed work and update maintenance records
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
Collaborate with property managers and tenants to resolve maintenance issues

Qualifications

1+ year of property maintenance or general repair experience preferred
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently

Preferred Qualifications

Certification or training in property maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical
Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in residential/commercial maintenance

Work Environment

Residential or commercial property settings
Exposure to dust, noise, and chemical cleaning agents
Physically active role requiring lifting, climbing, bending, and standing
