Position Summary:
The Machinist will perform typical machine shop operations, set up and operate a variety of machines, and follow cutting instructions precisely. This role requires a thorough knowledge of machining, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard machine shop operations with precision.
• Set up and operate various machines, including attachments and accessories.
• Carry out tasks assigned by Lead Person, Design Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer.
• Operate safely and report any hazardous situations immediately.
• Strive for personal improvement and contribute to the growth of the company.
• Review and familiarize yourself with company SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs), particularly those related to this position.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area free of debris.
• Retrieve the appropriate steel and cut the exact length and number of pieces required.
• Understand and follow all cutting instructions accurately.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a machinist in a production environment.
• Thorough knowledge of machining processes and machine setup.
• Ability to operate a variety of machines and attachments safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work under direction from engineers and lead personnel.
