Material Handler - 1st and 3rd Shift

Material Handler – Manufacturing & Warehouse

Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio

Job Type: Full-Time

Shifts Available: 1st Shift & 3rd Shift

Pay: $21.78/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Enter data into inventory management systems for finished goods and incoming components
• Process incoming receipts using barcode scanning, manual entry, EDI, and SAP systems
• Verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders
• Troubleshoot receiving discrepancies and resolve inventory issues
• Unpack, scan, and re-label incoming components
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility
• Transport materials between production areas and buildings (including hot parts)
• Perform accurate inventory transactions and stock material locations
• Conduct inventory counts, rack audits, and cycle counts
• Assist with material handling teams and water spiders as needed
• Operate a forklift to safely move materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas (cardboard removal, housekeeping)
• Support customer returns and inventory reversals
• File and organize supplier receiving documentation
• Follow all 6S, safety, and quality standards (TS 16949 / ISO 14001)
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
• Maintain reliable attendance and performance standards
• Work overtime as needed to support production and operational demands

Qualifications

• Warehouse, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• SAP or similar ERP system experience strongly preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
• Ability to perform manual counting and inventory verification
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
