Logistics Dispatcher

Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for a Logistics Dispatcher to join a local company in Omaha, NE!
Some on-call availability will be needed once you are fully hired on with the client. 

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire
•    Schedule: 7am-5pm, M-F
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: $25-$30/hour

Job Duties:
•    Dispatch drivers, technicians, or field personnel according to schedules and operational priorities
•    Monitor routes, job progress, and service completion times
•    Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams
•    Adjust schedules as needed due to emergencies, delays, or changing conditions
•    Maintain accurate records, logs, and dispatch reports
•    Use dispatch software, GPS systems, and phone/radio communication tools
•    Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or concerns professionally
•    Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•    3-5 years of previous dispatch experience required
•    Mcleod software experience preferred but not required
•    Knowledge of local geography and route planning
•    Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays if required
•    Bilingual skills (a plus, not required)
