Are you looking for a new job that allows you to make a difference in others’ lives? Our client, a manufacturer and distributor of healthcare equipment in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Process Technician for a short-term (4-6 week) opportunity starting at $16.75/hour.

Duties for the Process Technician includes:

• Provide maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on client and customer-owned beds, stretchers and related patient handling equipment to assure it is functioning properly and meets customers’ needs. 
• Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance and corrective repair service. Complete all associated documentation and communication in a timely manner
• Responsible for processing, cleaning, inspecting and testing equipment; and inventory maintenance
• Duties require working with cleaners and solvents as well as making minor repairs using hand tools. Training provided.

Requirements for the Process Technician include:

• 21 years of age or older, with high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license
• Prior work experience in hospital setting or customer service preferred
• Mechanical Aptitude with fine motor skills
• Military training or Associates degree in an Applied Science preferred
• Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, preventive maintenance and repair service on electro-mechanical equipment
• Familiar with the setup and application of test equipment (electrical safety analyzer, digital multi-meter, weights, etc.)
• Physical requirements include loading and unloading beds, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling 40lbs objects. Work with solvents, Frequent sitting, walking, reaching, stooping, squatting, crouching.
• Basic computer skills, including exposure to Outlook, Excel and ability to learn additional software products.
