Machine Operator

Location: South Haven, MI

Position Type: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire

Pay/Salary: $16.00 per hour

 

This position performs operations on assigned machines including set-ups, troubleshooting and teardown.  To fulfill the requirements of this position, operators must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

 

Responsibilities/Duties

• Ability to Operate Various Types of Machinery with Limited Interruptions. Efficient Machine Set-up and Teardown.
• Reading Blueprints & Part Specifications.  Accurately Enter Production Data into Database.
• Close Observation of Product while Processing. Troubleshooting based on Machine Monitoring.
• Quality inspection of produced parts. Measuring with tools to meet quality standards.

 

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude / capability to learn new concepts. 
• Ability to interact well with co-workers as well as independently.
• Adaptability to handling fast-paced changes in production schedules.
• Detail-oriented. 
• Good attendance/punctuality.
