Quality Control Inspector

Located in Foothill Ranch, CA

Salary: $21.00 to $24.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals, Irvine is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a busy industrial products distribution center in Irvine, CA. Our client is a stable company with a great track record and wonderful culture. This is a full-time, permanent, evaluation hire opportunity. Compensation starts at $21.00 to $24.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, shipments, and parts
• Perform routine inspections on incoming, reworked, and assembled components
• Use gauges and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gages, visual measurement systems)
• Generate defective material and corrective action reports
• Create and maintain basic inspection plans
• Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

• One year of mechanical inspection or quality-related assembly experience
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to read technical prints and understand hardware terminology
• Familiarity with QC tools, inspection methods, and ISO9001 documentation
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Dependable
• Forklift experience preferred
• Professional references required
