Summary:
Installs and tests land anchors used to stabilize oilfield equipment such as drilling rigs, pump jacks, and production facilities. Works outdoors in variable conditions and ensures all anchors meet required load specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Transport, position, and install land anchors/test existing anchors using trucks, hydraulic equipment, and hand tools.

·         Read and follow load charts, site plans, and anchoring specifications.

·         Operate anchor-setting equipment to drive anchors to required depth and tension.

·         Perform pull‑tests to verify holding capacity and document results.

·         Inspect soil conditions and determine optimal anchor placement.

·         Maintain equipment and report mechanical issues.

·         Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and site hazard assessments.

·         Communicate with rig crews, supervisors, and other field personnel to coordinate installation.

·         Complete daily reports, job tickets, and field documentation.

Qualifications:

·         Oilfield or heavy‑equipment experience preferred.

·         Ability to operate trucks, hydraulic tools, and anchor drivers.

·         Strong understanding of field safety practices.

·         Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb, and work in all weather.

Valid driver’s license; CDL often preferred.
