Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join a growing team in Plant City specializing in the fabrication and repair of boat trailers and trailer hitches. This role involves hands-on welding, repairs, and modifications to ensure trailers are safe, durable, and built to spec.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on boat trailers and trailer components
• Repair and reinforce trailer frames, hitches, and structural parts
• Fabricate trailer components based on specifications or custom needs
• Inspect welds to ensure strength, safety, and quality standards
• Use hand and power tools to cut, fit, and assemble materials
• Read and interpret basic blueprints or work orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding (required)
• Experience working on trailers, automotive, or marine equipment preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow specifications
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
