Manufacturing Technician

Position Summary:
This is a full-time non-exempt position. Responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently,
accurately, safely and on time. Operates manufacturing equipment and in-process instrumentation to
manufacture regulated products in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP),
company policy and safety regulations. Works on assignments that are routine in nature where
ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Position requires attention to detail
and fine motor dexterity. Normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instruction
on new assignments. Position requires direct supervision or oversight by a senior employee. Works
under immediate supervision of a Manufacturing Area Supervisor and reports to Manufacturing
Operations Production Manager.
Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Performs all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of Idaho
Technology’s Quality System.
2) Assembles regulated products and sub-assemblies including medical devices.
3) Operates Production Equipment
4) Maintains records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing
Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
5) Relies on instructions and pre-established written guidelines to perform job functions.
6) Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in
resolving problems.
7) Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of all designated manufacturing
areas.
8) Provide training when necessary to the new technicians in your area.
9) May assist with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.
10) Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Training and Education: (Minimum education and/or training requirements for this position, i.e., high school diploma,
college degree, certification.)
Minimum- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred- Experience in a production environment (either a cGMP manufacturer or an assembly
line environment)
