Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking a Junior Equipment Technician/Driver for a well-established manufacturing company in the city of Downey.

PAY: $20.00 an hour

SHIFT: 7AM - 3:30PM (Mon through Fri)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temp to Permanent hire

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair stud welding machines/industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components including circuit boards, transformers, rectifiers, and inverters.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, replace faulty components and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Must be able to instruct proper usage of SWP equipment.
• Driver must be able to communicate with customers regarding deliveries/ pickup’s to and from jobsites.
• Load or unload the product(s) at the customer’s place of business
• Organize deliveries, have customers sign receipts for goods and any report on mechanical problems with company trucks/ equipment.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience of facility or light maintenance REQUIRED
• Knows how to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and other electrical testing equipment
• Experience troubleshooting electrical
• Experience with with hand and power shop tools
