Salary: $30.00 to $33.00 an hour (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals of Downey is currently seeking a Manual Lathe Operator for our client in the city of Bell Gardens.

Hourly Pay: $30.00 to $33.00 an hour (DOE)

Schedule: Morning shift, 7AM-5:30PM (10 hour shift 4x a week)

DUTIES:

• Read and understand blueprints/drawings
• Measure parts for accuracy using calipers and/or micrometers
• Able to run lathe and hold a tolerance of 0.00015 (Fifteen ten thousandth)

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years manual lathe experience REQUIRED (conventional, horizontal 2 axes - NOT CNC)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50lbs
