Our client located in Elgin IL is looking for a Box Truck Driver to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods, materials, and personnel while maintaining accurate records and ensuring vehicle readiness.

Pay: $20–22/hr

In this position, you will:

• Responsibly deliver goods, materials, and personnel to designated locations throughout the Chicagoland area, ensuring punctuality and reliability
• Determine and follow the most efficient routes to maximize delivery and pickup efficiency
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and upkeep, ensuring the company vehicle is clean, refueled, and in optimal working condition
• Accurately document travel details, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any notable incidents
• Quickly identify, address, and report any challenges, delays, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain professionalism while representing the company during all deliveries and interactions

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong time management and route-planning skills
• Ability to accurately complete logs and documentation
• Attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to issues or changes
• Ability to work independently and reliably

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
• Ability to enter and exit the vehicle frequently
• Ability to lift and carry items as needed
