Experienced Welder – Fabrication Shop

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a fabrication‑focused industrial shop supporting a variety of structural and precision projects This This role requires strong heliarc/TIG welding abilities and the skill to produce high‑quality welds that meet x‑ray inspection standards.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with multiple materials and fabrication methods and can operate safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑quality heliarc/TIG welding on steel and stainless-steel components 
  • Produce welds that meet x‑ray quality requirements for high‑spec projects 
  • Work with structural steel, soft beams, stainless steel piping, and fabricated assemblies
  • Assist with steel fabrication, pipe fabrication, and general shop tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications 
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area 
  • Collaborate with shop personnel and supervisors to complete projects on schedule 

 Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a welder in a fabrication or industrial environment
  • Strong heliarc/TIG welding skills with the ability to pass weld tests 
  • Experience producing x‑ray quality welds
  • Ability to work with steel, stainless steel, and piping materials
  • Familiarity with structural fabrication practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
