Job Title: Production Worker – Wood Products Manufacturing
Location: Elma, WA
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2am

Job Summary:
The Production Worker is responsible for operating machinery, handling materials, and supporting the production and packaging of wood shaving products. This role ensures efficient operations, maintains product quality, and follows all safety and maintenance standards within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production & Baling:
  Operate wood shaving compressors and baling equipment to package by-products for distribution.
• Machine Operation:
  Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging and compression machinery, including handling chamber doors and bagging systems.
• Material Handling:
  Transport raw materials and finished goods using forklifts and other equipment; maintain organized inventory.
• Quality Control:
  Monitor product quality to ensure wood shavings meet required specifications, including proper bale weight and packaging standards.
• Safety & Maintenance:
  Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods (7+ hours per shift)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
