The Finance & Administration Manager oversees the organization’s financial operations, administrative systems, and outsourced accounting services. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, responsible stewardship of organizational resources, and compliance with all funding, legal, and audit requirements. The Finance & Administration Manager supports agency-wide planning, budgeting, and operational decision-making by providing timely financial analysis, forecasts, and guidance to the Executive Director, program leadership, and the Board of Directors. 
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, fiscal management, or financial analysis
  • Experience with Medi-Cal billing or government-funded contracts strongly preferred 
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, advanced spreadsheet tools, and financial reporting systems
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare clear, actionable reports

Responsibilities: 

  • Review and analyze monthly financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and areas requiring corrective action
  • Lead development of the annual operating, program, and salary/benefits budgets in partnership with the Executive Director and program leadership 
  • Serve as the primary liaison for outsourced accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and month-end close 
  • Ensure spending and cost allocation comply with program contracts, restricted grants, and organizational policies
