Packer Position

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $18 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and efficient candidates for a Packer position to work with a Local Milling Company. This position will pay $18/hour, and the hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Some overtime and weekends may be required - Overtime hours will be 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities: 

• Transfer of product from storage bins to packer to meet customer specifications
• Bag product with proper additives and proper labeling on bags
• Will rotate from lifting, forklift, and cleaning every hour
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must have previous forklift experience 
• Able to transfer weights of 50lbs.
• Able to work in a dusty environment
• Able to maneuver uneven terrain
• Able to ride a manlift and frequently climb stairs in a 10 story facility
• Will have exposure to arm, wrist and back fatigue
• Must be detailed oriented and quality conscious
• Willing to be trained in Plant Safety, Site Security, Food Safety, Chemical Safety, Sanitation
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
