Salary: $1200

  1. Purpose: The collection and processing of incoming customer orders along with distributor orders for shipment in a timely and efficient manner. Works with production on product availability, with traffic/distribution to ensure on-time deliveries and with sales on customer relations. Also handles orders for foundry consignments.
  1. Direct Reports: None
  1. Key Result Areas:
  • Receive and process all customer orders as well as foundry consignments
  • Primary contact for customers regarding inquiries, complaints and product information
  • Print pick slips for shipping
  • Advise customer of the availability of products
  • Process credits/debits/returns
  • Serve a liaison between customer and salesperson
  • Deal with production and product availability
  • Work with customers on forecasts for high volume products
  • Work with traffic and distribution to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Main points of contacts: Customers, Sales, Operations, Marketing (daily basis) 
  1. Qualifications: Associate degree preferred within a business discipline 
  1. Experience: 4 years minimum customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
  1. Knowledge: Knowledge of JDE is an advantage
  1. Skills & Behavior:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Able to multitask
  1. Problem Solving & Complexity: the primary focus of this position is to work day to day with customers/distributors to be sure their orders are shipped on time and in full. At times they must deal with very sensitive issues with customers/distributors.
