Electro-Mechanical Technician $17-$20/hr

 

Our Client in Conroe area is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to support production operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a motivated individual with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical equipment, including induction generator systems and coil equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Perform routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Repair or replace components such as motors, sensors, wiring, and circuit boards
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
• Document maintenance and repair work, including parts used and services performed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Provide input on equipment improvements and preventive maintenance schedules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or similar role

Skills

• Proficient with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and testing equipment
• Strong understanding of PLCs, motor controls, and electrical systems
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
