Direct Hire Production Operator

Located in Cottage Grove, MN

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Worker to join our corrugated packaging team. This role is essential to ensuring our products meet quality standards and are produced efficiently. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer specifications

• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelines

• Stack, bundle, and palletize finished goods according to production requirements

• Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage

• Communicate equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors or maintenance staff

• Assist team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production/machine operating experience preferred  

• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move for extended periods

• Comfortable working around machinery and in a high-volume production setting

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed

Work Environment

 

• Fast-paced manufacturing floor

• Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures

• Requires use of PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear
