Our client located in the 78738 area of southwest Austin has been around over 30 years and specialize in the field of compressed air and environmental analysis. They are seeking to add a Data Entry & Filter Lab Technician to their growing team! This position supports and provides essential testing media for their laboratory that tests breathing, medical and industrial compressed air. These test help support firefighting, medical, food, manufacturing and more.

This is a Hybrid department position, which means you will be working between two different areas of the facility each day and performing duties related to that location each day.

Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel onsite to a location that is just west of Bee Cave (78738).

Some of the Essential Responsibilities include:

• Views filter membranes through a microscope and performs manual counts of particulates
• Weigh customer samples and perform analytical balance
• Data Entry to update system with findings
• Building out packing materials, boxes, labels, etc., for scientific materials to be shipped
• Receiving and handling materials ensuring to follow safety procedures and requirements

 Qualifications:

• Detailed oriented
• Able to work with a microscope
• Simple math calculations
• Type a minimum of 60 wpm
• Comfortable with hands-on repetitive tasks
