Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM

 

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team, dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance and safety of heavy equipment, trucks, and industrial machinery. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with heavy machinery, and a commitment to quality service. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse equipment in a dynamic environment while contributing to operational efficiency and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and company trailers
• Complete PM services, DOT inspections, and safety checks
• Diagnose and repair engine, DEF/emissions, electrical, suspension, and brake issues
• Maintain detailed service records and manage parts inventory
• Work independently and communicate proactively with Operations and Shipping
• Ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to run

What You Bring

• 3+ years diesel mechanic experience (class 3–7 preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Welding, fabrication, or hydraulic experience a plus
• Ability to self-manage, stay organized, and prioritize repairs
• Must have reliable transportation and your own hand tools
• Complete PM services, DOT inspections, and safety checks
• Diagnose and repair engine, DEF/emissions, electrical, suspension, and brake issues
• Maintain detailed service records and manage parts inventory
• Work independently and communicate proactively with Operations and Shipping
