Pay range: $24-27/hr

Schedule: M-F 9am-6pm

Our client has supported work opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Oregon for over 30 years by providing janitorial, hard floor & carpet cleaning positions. Their mission is to support the employment choices of people with disabilities. 

The Office Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling our organization's mission and values. 

 Position Summary

·         Directly support the Management team & Executive Director in coordinating projects related to the janitorial office and daily operations.

·         Under minimal supervision and guided by TVW’s values and policies, the Office Coordinator will perform a variety of routine and complex administrative duties requiring a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures and policies.

·         Tasks will include, but not be limited to, customer and employee communication and coordination, background check processing, fleet management, and other administrative duties.

·         This position requires the ability to work independently and interdependently, exercising judgment and initiative in line with our organization’s values and policies.

Skills Required

·         Must be able to perform administrative work requiring independent judgment with speed and accuracy.

·         Must learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

·         Ability to maintain confidential records and information.

·         Must take responsibility for the compilation and organization of reports, composing correspondence on one's own initiative.

·         Must type accurately and quickly enough to take meeting notes, perform administrative tasks, and copy.

·         Must meet the public tactfully and courteously and answer questions in person, over email, text, and by phone.

·         Must be able to work in a team environment and be a contributing member.

·         Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.

·         Work independently and effectively with other employees.

·         Must have Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

·         Bilingual in English and Spanish

Experience Requirements

·         Minimum of 2-4 years of office experience.

·         Proficient in Word & Excel.

·         Bilingual in English and Spanish.

·         Knowledge of modern office procedures, equipment, and filing systems.

·         Business letter, report writing, proofreading, and statistical record keeping.

·         Previous management responsibilities.
