 Pay: 90 day temp to hire pay: $18/hr with raise once hired with client
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

 

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking a reliable Industrial Painter / Prep Technician for a manufacturing client in Ponder, TX. This individual would be responsible for preparing, sanding, and painting doors in a painting booth, allowing the technician to work independently while supporting overall production goals.

 

Qualifications

• Previous industrial painting or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and production schedules
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently in a designated work area
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare doors for painting through sanding and surface preparation
• Paint doors according to job orders and production specifications
• Ensure consistent coverage, finish quality, and adherence to color and specification requirements
• Complete required production volumes in a timely manner
• Inspect painted doors for defects, touch-ups, and overall finish quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to maneuver and rotate doors weighing up to 100 lbs with equipment assistance
• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
