Express Employment is seeking a Mining Haul Truck Driver for a temporary position in Dillon, MT. A mining haul truck driver safely operates heavy-duty dump trucks (e.g., Cat 793, Komatsu 830e) to transport ore, waste, and rock in surface or underground mines. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-start inspections, adhering to safety protocols, communicating with dispatch, and managing 12-hour shifts.

Key Job Responsibilities
• Operation: Drive large haul trucks (180-400+ ton capacity) to transport blasted rock, overburden, and ore to crushers or stockpiles.
• Safety & Inspection: Perform daily checks (tires, brakes, fluids), report faults, and adhere to strict Safe Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Communication: Coordinate with loaders, shovel operators, and supervisors using two-way radios and on-board computers.
• Site Awareness: Maintain awareness of surroundings to safely navigate deep pits, haul roads, and congested tipping areas.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate logbooks and follow all safety/environmental policies.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
• License: Valid driver's license (often Class 5 or higher).
• Experience: Often an entry-level role, but experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
• Physical Ability: Able to work long 12-hour shifts, climb ladders, and operate in extreme weather conditions (dust, noise, heat, cold).
• Skills: High attention to detail, focus, communication skills, and commitment to safety.

Work Environment
• Schedule: Often FIFO (Fly-in, Fly-out) roles requiring 12-hour shifts on rotating day/night rosters.
