Project-Based Position | Several-Month Duration | Certified Welders Required

Duration: Project position, expected to last several months

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 / hour DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with possible Saturday work

Hours: 50 - 60 hours a week, 10 hour shifts

Job Description: 

We are seeking certified structural welders to assist with a commercial and industrial structural steel project. Associates will be responsible for welding and installing fabricated structural steel and iron onsite. Work will be performed at height using harnesses and manlifts, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Steel will be prefabricated locally and delivered to the project site for installation.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Install structural steel and iron according to project specifications
• Use harnesses and manlifts safely when working at height
• Perform precise welding and fitting of structural iron components
• Read and follow project plans and installation instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements: 

• Certified structural welder (AWS D1.1 certification preferred)
• Experience with structural iron installation
• Must provide personal welding equipment
• Ability to work at height and in outdoor conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Physical ability to lift, move, and position steel components

Work Environment: 

• Outdoor project site with varying weather conditions
• Work performed off the ground with the use of harnesses and manlifts
• Fast-paced, project-driven schedule requiring 50–60 hours per week
• Team-oriented environment with a focus on precision and quality
