CIP Sanitation Associate follows all cleaning procedures for each piece of equipment within the Clean Room to ensure the highest level of food safety is met. They are responsible for knowing the correct dilutions of all cleaning related chemicals. CIP = “Cleaning in Place” meaning associate uses programmed machines to clean in continuous loops, cleaning multiple machines at once.

Associates must be able to communicate verbally in English and follow instructions well. It is a detail oriented job with a lot of tasks happening all at once so associates must be able to stay focused and consistent. Associates must be able to repeatedly lift at least 40lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time. This is a physical job requiring moving up and down

Evening position starting normally at 4pm and going until midnight/12:30 most days. Monday-Friday, full time.

Associates are required to wear the provided uniform (can be worn over clothes). Nonslip shoes are required (water proof is ideal for this job). Lockers and changing room provided, must provide their own lock if desired. No jewelry (watches, earrings, rings, etc.), fake eyelashes, nail polish or fake nails allowed in the clean room. Hair nets/beard nets must be worn so basic hair styles preferred (no bobby pins, small clips, etc.).

General duties not limited to:

• Ability to follow sanitation and food safety procedures.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in work area and around the facility.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Communicate effectively with management.
• Follow instructions and perform tasks in a timely manner.
• Safe handling of all cleaning chemicals including specific dilutions for each one.
• Testing titrations on all chemicals to ensure consistency.
• Verifying all equipment is cleaned/sanitized daily.
• Record information on proper logs throughout the shift when directed.
