PRODUCTION COMPANY ON BEAUTIFUL MARE ISLAND IS SEEKING A TEMPORARY SENIOR ACCOUNT. THE PAY IS $40.00 - $50.00 AN HOUR DOE!

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements
• Handle complex accounting issues and resolve discrepancies
• Mentor and guide junior accountants and accounting staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CPA candidate
  • Experience in public accounting or a similar industry
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools and automation systems
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
