We are looking for a General Laborer who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty, can lift 50 lbs regularly, is reliable, safety-conscious and loves to work overtime. No previous experience necessary! This role involves working as an entry-level production team member helping manufacture concrete construction products.

General Laborer Job Highlights:

·       Full-time, 1^st shift position WITH built-in OT each week

·       5:00AM-3:00PM with a 1-hour lunch break (M-F with overtime)

·       Pay rate of $23/hour

General Laborer Job Summary:

In this position, you will mainly be preparing concrete forms (molds used to hold wet concrete in shape until they harden, typically constructed from wood, plywood, steel, or plastic). You will also be supporting production operations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with quality control. This location makes concrete pipe that goes underground for sewer/sanitary systems.

General Laborer Job Duties:

•             Prepare and inspect concrete forms before production

•             Follow basic production instructions and layout drawings

•             Place and secure steel reinforcement using provided tools

•             Install concrete accessories in specified locations

•             Clean forms, tools, and work areas after production cycles

•             Stage materials and components to maintain workflow

•             Support quality control, plant cleaning, and safety activities

•             Perform general labor and other assigned production tasks

 

General Laborer Work Environment:

•             Manufacturing setting with some outdoor exposure

•             Exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and moving equipment

•             Team-oriented environment

 

General Laborer Physical Requirements:

•             Stand and walk for most of the shift

•             Bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

•             Use hand tools, tie guns, and other equipment

•             Work safely around moving machinery and automated equipment

 

General Laborer Qualifications:

•             No experience needed (manufacturing preferred)

•             Ability to work in a team environment

•             Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
