Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and hardworking Awning & Solar Screen Installer / Assembler to join a growing team in Lubbock, TX. This position involves installing and assembling solar screens, patio shades, and window coverings while providing quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install custom-fit solar screens that reduce heat by 10–15 degrees and block up to 90% of UV rays
• Install motorized and manual patio shades for patios, pergolas, and outdoor spaces
• Measure windows and materials accurately using a tape measure
• Assemble and install window coverings and related products
• Safely use hand and power tools
• Climb ladders and perform heavy lifting as needed
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve during installations

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Basic tool experience required
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience in assembly, construction, or production work preferred
• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR required)
• High school diploma or GED
