Salary: $23-$27 BOE
Location: Irwin Pay Rate: $23–$27/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: 1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM OR 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
The Setup Technician / CNC Machine Operator supports production by setting up and operating CNC equipment. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with basic familiarity with CNC machinery. Minor programming experience is a plus but not required. This position provides support to machine attendants and entry-level operators to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Perform tooling setup and changeovers
Complete fixture changeovers as required
Run first-piece parts and perform inspections
Make minor CNC program edits as needed
Monitor machine operations to maintain quality and efficiency
Support machine attendants and entry-level operators
Identify and report tooling, machine, or quality issues
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Familiarity with CNC machines (lathe or mill)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Minor CNC programming knowledge is a plus
Ability to use measuring tools for basic inspections
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to work in a production environment
