Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime may be required based on workload

Compensation: $30 – $40+ per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with diesel engines, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy construction equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records
• Repair or replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulics
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably with heavy construction equipment
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid DOT Medical Card (required)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in diesel technology or related field
• Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, or similar
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
