We are seeking a Janitor for a manufacturing company in Ayer, MA. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, organized, and compliant work environment for all employees.

 

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, cafeterias, labs, and office spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in common areas and production spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins throughout the facility.
• Clean and restock restrooms to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Wash interior windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Perform general indoor janitorial duties according to schedule and checklist.
• Safely handle cleaning products and follow all safety and PPE guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience required (industrial or manufacturing environment a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.

 

The schedule is Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM/6:30AM-2:30PM. The pay rate is $22/hr. This is temp-to-perm with great growth opportunities.
