Production Scheduler: 9 Month Contract

Location: Vandalia, OH

Compensation: $25-35/HR 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers, supervisors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of ISO9000 standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ability to read, interpret, and create reports, procedures, and business documents.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to work with rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand, including level-loaded planning for both in-house manufacturing and outsourced operations while ensuring material availability.
• Support production teams by managing capacity, prioritizing order releases, and driving on-time delivery performance through effective long-term planning.
• Maintain accurate data within the ERP system, monitor action/exception messages, and manage open order reports and line-of-balance tracking.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling issues, collaborating with department supervisors to validate schedules and resolve conflicts.
• Communicate job priorities, delivery commitments, and potential risks to leadership and cross-functional teams, including participation in customer calls.
