Job Title: Pastry Line Cook

Schedule: Weekly schedule TBD - most likely afternoons/evenings, 40 hours per week

Pay: $27.57 per hour

Description: 

 

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pastry Line Cook to support daily pastry production in conjunction with the Sous Chef(s). This role is responsible for preparing high-quality pastry items while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, sanitation, cleanliness, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive, respectful
kitchen culture and support an exceptional dining experience.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute pastry items according to recipes, quality standards, and service needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while following all kitchen and health regulations
  • Support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, communication with the team, and opening/closing duties

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of fine dining kitchen experience, including pastry or bakery work
  • Ability to perform physical kitchen duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintain excellent hygiene and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork mentality, and availability for a demanding full-time schedule
