Bottling Support Operator (Weekends Only)

Job Summary: The Bottling Line Support Operator is responsible for ensuring the pill counter remains consistently filled with softgels, while also managing the bottling unscrambler and the bottle capping machine. Duties include moving materials from the warehouse to replenish the pill counter, unscrambler, and cap machines. This involves using a floor jack to move pallets of bulk softgels, empty bottles and bags of caps.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Bring in pallets of softgel bulk in red tote containers. Open each bag of softgel to replenish the pill counter hopper. Each bag can weigh up to 10 kilos.
• Bring in pallets of bottles. Open each box of bottles using a safety box cutter to replenish the bottle unscrambler machine. Each pallet will have 16 boxes of bottles.
• Bring in bags of bottle caps to replenish the cap machine. Each bag weighs an average of 5 kilos.
• Keep count of the softgel pallets that are brought into the department to assure accuracy of bulk that is bottled. Pallet counts are noted on the bulk list per batch order.
• Cleans and maintains pill counter machine after every bulk changeover
• Promptly reports materials, process, and equipment concerns, questions, and/or problems to department Lead for proper handling.

Position Qualifications:

• Ability to safely operate a pallet floor jack and push or pull pallets weighing over 600 lbs.
• Ability to use a calculator to accurately track and account for softgel bulk brought into the department.
• Ability to maintain continuous material supply to the bottling line by keeping the softgel counter, bottle unscrambler, and cap machines fully stocked throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and handle materials such as bags of softgels, bottles, and caps.
• Strong attention to detail when tracking pallet counts and verifying bulk usage for production batches.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

 

Schedule: Saturday's and Sunday's ONLY, 3pm-1:30am (10hr shifts)
