Laundromat Assistant - H318

Located in Eureka, CA

Salary: $16.90

We are currently hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team! This position supports operations at multiple laundromat locations and is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works independently, and provides great customer service.

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean washers and dryers (inside and out)
• Wipe glass doors, handles, and surfaces
• Clean lint traps, soap compartments, and machine seals
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed
• Clean tables, chairs, and laundry baskets
• Maintain restroom cleanliness (toilets, sinks, floors)
• Take out trash and restock supplies (soap, toilet paper)

Laundry Services

• Complete wash-and-fold orders (wash, dry, fold, bag, and label)
• Accurately label orders with customer details and pricing
• Communicate with team if orders cannot be completed during shift

General Duties

• Monitor machines and report any issues promptly
• Handle left-behind clothing per company policy
• Work independently while maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Provide friendly, professional customer service when needed

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry laundry (up to 25–40 lbs)
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends
• Comfortable working independently and closing locations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (for multi-location shifts)

Compensation & Benefits

• $16.90/hour (minimum wage, compliant with California law)
• Mileage reimbursement between job locations
• Paid sick leave in accordance with California law

Schedule

• Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:00 PM – Close (approx. 9:30 PM)
• Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 5:00 PM – Close
• Mileage reimbursement provided between locations
