We are seeking a highly analytical Compliance Specialist to oversee internal regulatory frameworks, government contracting requirements, and specialized inventory controls. This role is critical in maintaining our standing with federal oversight bodies and ensuring 100% operational integrity across all sensitive business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialized Recordkeeping: Manage and audit high-stakes federal documentation and "chain of custody" records for sensitive assets and controlled hardware.
  • Inventory Audits: Conduct rigorous internal audits of physical inventory and digital logs to ensure alignment with federal licensing requirements and internal policy.
  • Government Contracting: Ensure all business activities remain compliant with FAR/DFARS and other applicable defense acquisition regulations.
  • Policy Architecture: Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate risk; translate complex legal requirements into actionable company policies and reporting structures.
  • Workforce Training: Develop and deliver compliance training modules for staff to ensure a culture of high-level regulatory awareness.
  • Reporting: Prepare confidential briefs for leadership regarding audit findings, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: BS in Law, Compliance, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in government contracting compliance.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven background in defense-related regulatory environments, specifically involving the oversight of controlled physical assets.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot discrepancies in large data sets; proficiency in compliance management software.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills for reporting to executive stakeholders and training diverse teams.
Security & Eligibility Requirements
  • Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and currently possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, a U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret or higher).
  • Regulatory Standing: Must meet all federal criteria for the legal handling and oversight of controlled defense articles and specialized hardware.
