$22.00 per hour

2:30pm-11:00pm / Monday- Friday 

 

A freight forwarding company seeking a certified forklift operator responsible for safe and efficient material handling within our warehouse. This role supports the movement of goods through our logistics network, including receiving, storing, and shipping freight. Certified Forklift Operator Responsibilities

• Perform overall material handling operations within the warehouse
• Receive incoming freight via railcar and truckload; scan and store in designated locations
• Pick and stage orders accurately using barcode scanners
• Load outbound trailers, including completing trailer inspections
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy and integrity
• Accurately record and update product locations and any location changes
• Operate and maintain forklift and clamp equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), documentation, and company processes
• Scan products into and out of the Abecas system using barcode scanners
• Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the office for processing
• Complete daily building checklist and assigned tasks

Certified Forklift Operator Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification required
• Experience in a freight forwarding, logistics, or warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to operate forklift and clamp equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
