Job Title: Temporary Groundskeeper – Apartment Community

Location: South Asheville, NC

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay: $18–$20/hr (based on experience)

Duration: Temporary – with opportunity to evaluate for permanent.

 

Job Overview:

An apartment community in South Asheville is seeking a temporary Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property during the spring season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and staying active throughout the day.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Walk the property daily to remove litter, debris, and pet waste

 

Blow off sidewalks and walkways to maintain a tidy appearance

 

Assist with trash duties, including checking and cleaning common areas

 

Support general exterior maintenance tasks as directed

 

Maintain a positive and professional attitude while on site

 

Requirements:

Must be able to work independently and take initiative

 

Comfortable with full physical movement including bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling throughout the shift

 

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

 

Prior groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred but not required

 

Must be reliable and punctual
