Assistant General Manager Job Summary:

This role is a combination of leadership duties - such as training, overseeing baristas, opening and closing, and inventory ordering – and day-to-day hands-on work such as preparing menu items, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone with food service or retail management experience and offers the opportunity to grow into a General Manager position in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations and support baristas and leads during shifts
• Ensure excellent customer service, food and drink quality, and cleanliness standards
• Train, coach, and assist with developing staff
• Assist with managing inventory, ordering, and scheduling
• Handle cash, POS systems, and step in as acting manager when needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of previous food service, café, or retail experience
• Management experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexible availability including weekends
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
