Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour (Depending on Experience)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Status: Full-Time / Long-Term

• Location: Belle Chasse, LA

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Use computerized test equipment and calibration devices to diagnose faults and malfunctions.

• Mechanical Repair: Repair and replace damaged or worn parts; dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.

• Systems Maintenance: Adjust, maintain, and repair subassemblies including transmissions, hydraulic systems, and fuel systems.

• Electrical & Welding: Troubleshoot and rewire electrical systems; weld or solder broken parts and structural members using electric or gas welders.

• Diesel Engines: Install, maintain, and repair industrial diesel engines.

• Testing: Overhaul and test machines after repair to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and operating efficiency.

• Technical Literacy: Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Position Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in heavy equipment repair, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.

• Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, jacks, cranes, and diagnostic software.

• Physical Ability: Must be able to perform essential functions of the role, including lifting and maneuvering heavy components (reasonable accommodations may be made).
