Now Hiring: Weld Tech – 2nd Shift (Spfd Location)

$22/hour to start

We’re seeking a skilled Weld Tech to support 2nd shift operations. In this role, you’ll provide technical expertise for robotic arc welders, spot‑welding work cells, and production equipment while helping drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the department.

What You’ll Do

Set up and troubleshoot robotic welding work cells
Touch up robot programs and adjust weld processes as needed
Operate machinery and support production when required
Train new operators and complete necessary production and quality documentation
Perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and fixture evaluations
Troubleshoot PLC-related issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Monitor product quality and report any defects or abnormalities
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety requirements

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma or GED
Manufacturing experience required
Robotic welding or welding experience preferred
Familiarity with industrial robots (Yaskawa, Fanuc, etc.)
Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude
Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for 10‑hour shifts
Computer literacy for basic data entry
Must wear steel‑toed shoes and safety glasses in production areas
