Production Associate – 1st & 2nd Shift

Company Info:
Food manufacturing company located in Lebanon, Indiana that produces frozen fish products. This is an exciting new operation with opportunities for long-term growth. The company values steady employees who are willing to learn multiple areas of the production floor and contribute to a safe, quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:

• Working on the production floor helping manufacture frozen fish sticks and other products
• Inspecting product quality and removing defects from the line
• Opening fish blocks and feeding product into machines for processing
• Ensuring proper bag seals and date codes
• Collecting and recording production rejects
• Assisting with batter, breading, frying, and packaging processes
• Hand stacking finished products onto pallets
• Maintaining food safety and quality standards throughout the production process

Location: Lebanon, IN

Position Type: Evaluation Hire / Contract-to-Hire

Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Training:

• If starting the week of March 23rd, training will be 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM that week before moving to 2nd shift on March 30th
• If starting prior to March 23rd, training will occur on 1st shift from 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM until March 23rd.

Pay:

• $20/hr starting pay
• $21/hr once moved to 2nd shift

Additional increases after hire-on:

• +$1/hr when hired on permanently
• $0.25 increase at 3 months
• $0.25 increase at 6 months
• $1.00 increase at 1 year

Qualifications:

• Stable work history
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow GMP food safety and PPE requirements
• Ability to learn multiple areas of the production floor
• Ability to operate material handling equipment after training if required

Dress Code:

• Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required
• Navy blue Dickies or Dockers
• Hearing protection and safety glasses required
• Hair nets and beard nets (if applicable)
• White food safety shirt provided
• No jewelry, piercings, sweatpants, hoodies, long fingernails, or eyelashes
