Customer Service Representative

$18/hour

8 am to 5 pm Mon to Fri

A leading industrial distribution center is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers with product inquiries, order processing, and problem‑solving. This role involves building ongoing customer relationships and helping identify the right parts and solutions. Full training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers by phone and in person
  • Understand customer needs, research solutions, and recommend parts
  • Process quotes, orders, and post‑order support
  • Meet monthly sales and service goals
  • Use mechanical aptitude to help troubleshoot customer issues

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable using computers; basic Outlook and Excel skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • SAP/ERP or industrial product knowledge is a plus, not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
