We are hiring an experienced Yard Forklift Operator for a busy outdoor yard.
This position involves operating a forklift to move materials throughout the yard, load and unload trucks, and keep the area clean and organized. Candidates must be comfortable driving over gravel, dirt, and some areas of uneven ground.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a sit-down forklift in the yard
Load and unload trucks and trailers
Move and stage materials throughout the yard
Drive safely over rough and uneven terrain
Keep the yard clean and organized
Complete daily equipment inspections
Follow all safety procedures
Requirements
2+ years of sit-down forklift experience
Previous outdoor yard experience preferred
Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
Experience loading and unloading materials
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Forklift certification is a plus
We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.
